Aspan drone racing team
1Kazakhstan drone racing team, Aspan, at the "Races of the Future" currently taking place in Kazan, can be described. The competition features 16 teams from various countries, competing in speed and maneuverability, covering 25 laps through an obstacle-laden course.
Yesterday, in a fierce battle for the finals, the team from Kazakhstan secured the 6th place, missing the finals by just one lap to a competitor who advanced. The fight for first place and a prize of $87,500 saw participation from teams from Korea, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, China, and two Russian teams. The team from South Korea clinched the first place, thereby affirming their status as world champions in several global drone racing leagues.
This performance is a significant achievement for the burgeoning culture of digital sports in Kazakhstan, with drone racing being one of its bright representatives. We eagerly await the return of our champions and continue our work with doubled effort to popularize drone technologies in various areas: development, production, training, services, and sports. We hope to draw the attention of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Enlightenment, and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to this growing trend!
