Gameloft is a mobile studio best known for ripping off console games for mobile. Originally developing for java phones- eventually they'd flood mobile markets with Halo and CoD clones, with one small exception- their mostly unique racing franchise Asphalt. The first game in the series started on the fucking N-Gage, before seeing Java and DS ports, and is still going to this day, with its latest game coming out in 2018. The 4th mainline Asphalt, Asphalt 4: Elite Racing was initially developed for the original ipod with the click wheel, a version that is now apparently lost media and the ipod touch, before reaching the N-Gage, Blackberry, and a Java mobile port, plus a release on the DSi e-shop. These versions can differ pretty wildly, they all got some different stuff going on including some tracks ported from 3 and so on. To keep stuff simple, I'll only be talking about the DSi version today.
