The new 12th Intel generation was announced and with it the new z690 motherboard.
On today, in this new First Contact we’ll be looking at new AsRock Z690 Extreme DDR4 motherboard designed for new 12th Generation Intel cpus, which joins the family of numerous z690 motherboard produced by the company.
New AsRock Z690 Extreme DDR4 is an ATX form factor motherboard.
As all the new z690 boards it features Intel LGA1700 socket that supports the 12th Generation Intel Core i9, i7, i5, i3 cpus, Intel Pentium Gold, Intel Celeron cpus.
The motherboard is equipped with four DDR4 DIMM sockets Dual channel memory architecture that support 32 GB single DIMM capacity up to a maximum to 128 GB for four dimm.
It support DDR4 from 2100 MHz and to 3200 MHz in overclocking.
Storage options includes eight SATA III ports and three M2 slot and as expansion slot four PCie x 16 slots.
The motherboard is available from November 4 on retail at price of about $ 269.
