Playing in Low Resolution doesnt really change the fps.
play it at 1280 fullscreen resolution or 1280x600
to improve the fps!!!!! plays good actually all I thought that
the game wont play smoothly but I was surprise when
I've finished downloading the game

I usually use 1280x600 Resolution cuz I dont wanna play
games in a small screen the fps are locked in 15 :)
