No.. the game runs amazingly smooth at 1280 by 800 normal settings and looks pretty spectacular. This is the Uplay version . Well done Ubisoft ..shame about Ghost Recon Future soldiers PC port but that is what patches are for ! If your laptop packs just an Intel HD 3000 rejoice and welcome to the revolution! 3d gaming and higher res gameplay to follow
