Assassin's Creed Mirage is set in Baghdad during the Abbasid Caliphate in the 9th century, known as the Islamic Golden Age. The game is inspired by the real-life Nizari Ismaili state of the 11th to 13th centuries, and the Order of Assassins, a historic military order of Ismaili Shias. Assassin's Creed Mirage is the first Assassin's Creed title to be fully localized in Arabic language and text.
