The microtransactions in Assassin's Creed Odyssey could very easily be described as pay to win as they offer clear advantages to those who are willing to spend the extra money. Ubisoft, it seems like, deliberately made progression in the game a grind in order to tempt people into spending even more money on the game they already paid for, in the form of XP boosts and unique in game items only attainable by spending real world money. This is pretty shady when you really think about it. Let me know your thoughts.
