Assassin's Creed Shadows received a title update (1.0.5) that focuses on improving parkour and photo mode features. The update introduces smoother parkour, new Photo Mode tools, and bug fixes. Parkour enhancements include smoother movement, better side and back eject distances, and fresh animations. The photo mode update provides more customization options, including new filters, stickers, character poses and facial expressions, and even the ability to add ambient music.
This update also introduces a new vertical jump: both Naoe and Yasuke can now launch directly toward low ledges without needing to wall-run.
Smoother movement: The update aims to make parkour feel more fluid and responsive.
Enhanced mobility: Players can now move more freely and efficiently, with improved side and back eject distances.
New animations: The update includes fresh animations to enhance the parkour experience.
Vertical jump: A new parkour interaction allows players to jump and grab low overhangs, reducing the need for vertical wall-runs.
Additionally, sprinting no longer breaks during Upward or Downward Parkour, as long as you maintain direction.Side and back ejects now have greater range.
Virtual photographers will be pleased: Photo Mode gets its biggest revamp in Assassin’s Creed history. New features include:
Time-of-day adjustments
Poses, expressions, and facial gestures
Custom music for edits
Frames, filters, and stickers with more color options
Toggleable accessories like helmets
Improved preview and fullscreen mode (on PC)
