Assetto Corsa Vs iRacing Porsche 911 GT3 Handling

In this video were compare the specific handling characteristics of the Porsche 011 GT3 car in iRacing and Assetto Corsa

Main differences

I racing

- iRacing car has no ABS

- Back end more sensitive to the brake

- Car will follow itself into corners

- Less catch able slip angle but still controllable at wider slip angles

- slightly less under-steer

- Car will push wide on the throttle

- No or very little FFB for front end tire lode and grip

- Stronger more aggressive FFB for self aligning

Assetto Corsa

- Has ABS on by default but can be disabled by the driver with 11-modes of stregth

- Back end more stable and less sensitive to braking even with higher tire pressures and lower camber settings

- the rear is very progressive

- The car has a far wider controllable slip angle but a much more aggressive snap when the grip returns

- More prone to understeer and less willing to rotate into corners under the limit than the iracing car

-The car can be pushed out of corners more aggressively without running wide or losing time

-FFB conveys under-steer and tire grip around the limit in much more detail

- The throttle is slightly less responsive than in iRacing.
