Rollers! Join me as I cover a prototype of Astro Knights created by Nick Little (I), Will Sobel and published by Indie Boards & Cards. This one lands on Kickstarter for February 8th! Some known differences between the prototype here and the final version:
#1. The boss and homeworld life tracks will be life dials.
#2. The boss and player mats will be of a much higher quality overall.
#3. Some graphic design will be different. (ex. player card backs and the turn order decks aren't final)
#4. The level and difficulty tokens will be tokens, not cards!
#5. The health & player number tokens are being made into a standard size & shape.
#6. There will be a First Game Sheet in the final game that guides the players in how to setup the first game.

"Astro Knights is a cooperative deck building game where your deck is never shuffled. Your goal is to defeat the Boss before it destroys your team or the Homeworld you’re defending.
Each round, the players and the Boss will take turns in a random order. During a player’s turn, they will be able to acquire Fuel, Tech, and Weapons from the supply, equip and attack with those Weapons based on the number of slots they have, gain new slots, power up, and use their special ability. All four of the Bosses in this game have their own decks and abilities, and will require a different strategy to be defeated."
