Astronauts don't snore in space. A research study from the National Institutes of Health found, that the lack of gravity makes humans snore less. According to Dr. J.D. Polk, snoring occurs when gravity pulls the tongue and soft tissues backward. If airway is partially obstructed, you get these tissues flapping. In microgravity, there is less gravity to pull the tongue and soft tissues, so there is less airway obstruction.
