Vice President of Asus India Arnold Su said that the second generation of the ROG Ally portable console will most likely premiere this year.

Arnold says the company will continue to use the Windows operating system.

Nothing was said about the characteristics of the device. It is likely that ROG Ally 2 will have more powerful hardware installed.

The company could use AMD's new Strix Point processors based on the Zen 5 architecture, or opt for Intel Core Ultra , as MSI did for its Claw .

The first ROG Ally is equipped with Ryzen Z1 (6 cores/12 threads) and Z1 Extreme (8/16 threads cores) processors. The price starts at $599.
