In the current market, the regular ROG Astral RTX 5090 OC is available for nearly USD 3,000. Designed with targeted markets in mind, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa, this edition combines performance-focused engineering with design elements that reflect regional cultural motifs. The card’s engineering features include an enhanced thermal solution that employs a heatsink assembly finished in a gold-like color. This finish is consistently applied to the cooler shroud, backplate, and GPU retention bracket. Although the documentation does not clarify whether the gold effect is achieved through electroplating or a durable polish, the cohesive appearance suggests an intentional design process aimed at integrating both form and function. Additionally, the graphics card includes a turquoise-like stone detail that refracts light to exhibit blue-green tones, a design decision that mimics the natural look of stone. These modifications have been implemented without impacting the card’s ability to handle high-end graphics processing tasks, ensuring that performance remains the primary focus. The design also integrates culturally significant symbols that resonate with the intended audience. Arabic calligraphy and machined motifs on the backplate depict elements such as desert landscapes and modern urban skylines, symbolizing values like strength, courage, and unity.
