At this point, I am angrier than the White Lady / Lets Play Martha is Dead (p4)
3We’re having a lot to do today, we’re going to Martha’s burial, create a big scene with our mother, ride our bike (needlessly and frustratingly) and then go up and conjure up the freaking White Lady FTW! But before we do that, we have to do and collect a few things. Also, Rest in Peace, Nanny, we hardly knew ya (literally, the game did little to make her a fully realized character).
It’s been roughly 3-4 hours of gameplay for me and I will continue this series but at this point I am not sure I will ever become friends with this. The magic of games like Mundaun, Strangeland or Chasing Static or even the bemused fun I had with Medium or Two Mirrors has not yet caught me once in this game. Also: where are the scares? This is the least scary hyped up horror game I’ve ever played.
So, I didn’t find anything about bicycle laws back in the 40s in Italy, however, I stumbled on this story of a cycling champion who also fought the Nazis, Gino Bartali, who not only refused Mussolini but also was part of a secret network that helped Jews and other endangered people escape the Nazis. However, he did not shoot guns from his bike but rather hid important documents in the handlebar and frame of his bike. https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-27333310
