11War, huh? What is it good for? Uh.... selling video games, apparently.
I grew up as a gamer in the early 90's and while we have all done stupid things as children, there is one thing I regret more than anything. Console waring. Looking back, not only is it pathetically juvenile, it did a lot of harm to young gamers who were trying to find their footing in the evolving gaming landscape.
I was a Nintendo kid, and looking back I hate the arguments and insults that came from that ridiculous mentality, and realise that I played my part in turning people off of some absolute classics on Nintendo systems, and completely played myself by refusing to play games on SEGA and later Playstation. Thankfully, I have been able to go back and rediscover those games that I so casually dismissed for being on the wrong hunk of plastic and circuitry.
The Nintendo vs SEGA and Nintendo vs Playstation rivalries are legendary, but it didn't start there.

▪ Don't be a snowflake. Someone disagreeing with you is not harassment, someone saying they don't like something isn't an attack. I don't want people being abusive and starting arguments, but being overly sensitive also causes drama that I don't want.
▪ No backseat gaming. Please don't spam the chat with what you think I should do next, I want to play the games my way, and I will definitely ask if I am having trouble. Trust me, I do value your input, but I also don't like using guides. It has to be fun for both of us.
▪ No game begging. I am willing to hear suggestions and discuss ideas for future games, but ultimately I will play what I want to play. I can't play everything everyone asks me to, so please don't continuously ask or demand I play something - ESPECIALLY while I am playing something else.
▪ I have some back issues if I sit around for too long. I may take a break to move around, every couple of hours.
