0I was in a "Centipede" kind of mood, so here's the classic arcade game, as seen on the Atari 400/800 systems!
Come to think of it, does this game have a backstory? What is the player character, anyway? Are the mushrooms, centipedes, spiders, fleas, and scorpions enormous, or are you tiny?

Apparently, it's an "enchanted" mushroom patch, and you're fighting off the infestation with a "bug blaster". So, probably giant mushrooms and creatures, then.
It seems Atari also released several runs of the game. This is specifically the 1982 release, though I have no idea what differences there might be between versions.
