One thing in life is certain: people like to hate on Atari & the Atari VCS. While I understand the VCS has issues (what console doesn't?), as an Atari fan, it gets increasingly difficult & tiring to 'defend' a system that I know has some issues, like any other.... BUT... one that I still do like & always will. Not just because I'm an Atari fan, but because I DO still like the console & see it's potential: I use the VCS as a Linux box, I use it as a game console & it can be a great product for the right use cases or for Atari fans.
On this Atari Newsline Newsflash special, I try to put into words my frustration, my perseverance, my joy, and the highs and lows of being an Atari fan in 2022 & how I deal with the Atari negativity. Let's get one thing clear. I'm an Atari fan, NOT an Atari fan boy, and in my quest to be impartial & honest whilst being a fan, let's be honest...
