The battle against Keithgriff is unwinnable (can be won on a Second Playthrough though) so just keep on attacking until he kills your party.
Also, I accidentally collected two times from a gathering spot that had respawned, thus wasting a day. We'll be at 9/13 at the next part again instead of 9/14.
