ATMO Interview With David Luong (Senior VFX Environment Artist/Matte Painter)

David will share some of the challenges he's faced throughout his career, as well as his strategies for success.
David served as a cinematic artist at Blizzard Entertainment for 15 years working on titles such as World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo, StarCraft 2, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm. He brings over 17 years of film & games industry experience with deep knowledge in lighting, compositing and digital matte painting. David is also known as “Eleven” at Imagendary Studios and is currently the Lead Digimatte artist for the studio. He is an enthusiastic mentor and educator in digital matte painting through the online community and co-authored the book d’Artiste: Matte Painting Vol. 3
