The section from 27:10 to 31:40 is literally me doing nothing other than waiting for the one spider to make a revolution around the exterior so I can trap it, and can therefore be skipped without missing anything. There are a few other similar sections but not nearly as long.
Keep trying and you will succeed...but nonetheless this level HANDS DOWN takes the crown as the hardest and most patience-demanding level not just so far in Atomprojekt but in ANY mod for Wolf3D to-date that I have ever beaten - or even attempted to beat - without saves. By a pretty comfortable margin, at that. If you can't tell by how carefully I play most of it, which is no coincidence, because once I've made it past even the first round of spiders I do NOT want to die.
This level IS beatable considerably faster (perhaps half the time) and without doing all the spider-trapping, but you need more spare health, and several locations could kill you if you have bad luck. I don't know if I may have succeeded at a faster run in a few tries, but I didn't want all those variables on my plate that could lead to a late death (on top of the already super-stressful last couple of fights!). This strategy - however long - is the one I've found that has the fewest luck-based variables.
