Attempting Pacifism & Who Is More Metal? Plus An Encounter With Pirates! (Tiny Tina's Wonderlands 7)
0The 2 quest I went on in this session were special. The first one was a test of pacifism and the downfall of not being a bard with his charisma. A goblin gave me quest to attempt to defeat a wizard without any bloodshed. Tina joked that it was possible while frett and valentine took different approaches. The pacifism part of this quest was a bit of an obstacle seeing how it made me beat around the bush to solve things and I couldn't successfully seduce anyone. the quest ended its having to kill 2 people, so not perfect. although there was an option to sit and listen through a long dialogue that I didn't take on mistake because the seduce option came back and I thought it would trigger different dialogue, but it resulted in a fight. It did however give me something to attempt when I run thought the game again.
The second quest was a bit weird? Tina told us it was a battle of the bands, but it turned out to a fetch quest to help 2 different band feel better about the title of being more metal. I'm not going to lie, this wasn't exactly a highlight for me despite how it was written. I know that the people in this quest are suppose to be written as posers who want the title of being more metal and I went out of my way to have that happen, but in the end I was very surprised to find out that there's more to this quest than helping 2 groups of people feel that there's worthy of a street creed title.
Lastly I dove into an encounter which resulted in me fight pirates and that was the breath of fresh air and enjoyment that I needed to finish off this session. It also reminded me that a pirate section is yet to come from my quick glance at some of the characters of the Tiny Tina's Wonderlands page before it was fully released. if you made it to the end of this session you can tell we are going to find pirates in the next session.
