Audi joins Formula 1 in 2026

German manufacturer Audi will participate in the Formula 1 World Championship as an engine supplier from the 2026 season.

Audi Chief Executive Officer Markus Duesmann, whose views are included in the statement on Formula 1's website, stated that the power unit rules that will come into force in 2026 play a key role in their choices.
