Nate takes you first through an overview of the Audient EVO 4 and then setup and configure your Windows Sound Mixer and the Audient EVO 4 software as well as showcasing how the microphone sounds with his SHURE MV7 with it using USB Audio only and then using the 48V Phantom Power of the Audient EVO 4. In initial testing, the volume is louder over USB but is a bit buzzy and voice has distortion and comes off soft but loud. With the Audient EVO 4 the voice isn't as loud but is much more clear, sharp and the clarity is dramatically higher, plus you have the ability to have dual mic inputs plus an instrument input as well. The smart gain button will auto dial in your gain as needed and balance it your input levels. The Audient EVO 4 has a 58dB Gain Range and 113dB dynamic range. The Audient EVO 4 can drive the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 and Planar headphones as well.
