VIRTUAL PNBALL GAMEPLAY
Avatar Stern, 2010 FizX, DOFLinx for Cabinets and Desktop PCs 2.2
Authors Table: Lacarill, Francisco666, SLAMT1LT, GeorgeH, Gimli, JLou5641, AnonTet, Fleep, Popotte, TerryRed, NitroNimbus
Table Update: 2.2

Table Description:

When you play this pinball game, your spirit will go with Eywa but your body will stay behind... Be like Jake Sully, become one with the Na’vi and immerse yourself into the world of Pandora. Walk through the dream; I see you!

Just in time for the release of "Avatar: The Way of Water" in movie theaters comes a fantastic rework of Stern's Avatar table, complete with FizX physics, in-game lighting tweaker tool, full in-game menu system and mechanical sound recordings by Fleep. The FizX physics may be a slightly newer version than what is used on TerryRed's tables but it is the same system created by JLou5641.

I recorded a video that provides an overview of the table and shows some game play. The game play is not my best but it shows the start of several game modes:

The download includes two other script files that need to be added to the folder, "C:\Games\Future Pinball\Scripts". The ball rolling sound script is the same that is used on other tables so you do not need to replace it if it has already been saved there:

If you don't save the script files to the folder, "C:\Games\Future Pinball\Scripts", you will get error messages and won't be able to play the table.

Two Zip Files – Must Read

There are two zip file included in the download, One of them contains the model of a ball with 8K polygons. The other zip file has a 1K polygon ball. The 8K ball has the same name as the table and should be tried first. The FizX physics work best with the 8K polygon ball. You can try using the 1K ball if your PC runs out of resources but it does not perform as well as the 8K. Do not unzip the zip files. Just save one of them with the same name as the table an place it in the same folder as the table. Both zip files contain a texture that drives the color DMD. If you don't use one of the zip files, the DMD will appear white in color and the physics won't be as good.

BAM – Must Read

This table requires BAM version 1.5-329 or later in order for it to perform as intended and to not crash or generate error messages.
