Avery Johnson FIRED
67Billy King, the Brooklyn Nets' general manager, has announced today the firing of Avery Johnson. The team currently sits in the 8 spot at 14-14 int eh Eastern Conference. Johnson, a former Mavericks and New Jersey Nets coach, was awarded Coach of the Month honors in November. Phil Jackson, Jerry Sloan, Flip Saunders, Mike Brown and Larry Brown are a few of many names being floated around as the new head coach. PJ Carlesimo is the interim head coach.
