In this video, I'm going to talk about how to avoid Copyright Claims and I'm going to start with in-game music.

You can avoid getting flagged by YouTube's content id system with a copyright claim by simply turning off your in-game music.

This past few days, gameplays or gaming related videos in YouTube are getting flagged by YouTube's content id system with copyright claims.

The good news, YouTube's content id system is not always flagging gameplays or gaming related videos because of the game.

Most of the times, YouTube's content id system are flagging gameplays or gaming related videos for something else.

That something is in-game music.

For some reason, some music label companies or record companies are claiming music that plays in some games. If this happens to one of your gameplay or gaming related videos then you can try to dispute it.

If the claim is released then good for you but if not then you can try removing the music from the video by editing it. If that's not possible then there's really nothing else you can do.

Now, to avoid future flagging of your gameplay or gaming related videos for music or song by the content id system, what you can do is, turn-off any in-game music before you start recording.

If you absolutely must have music in your gameplay or gaming related videos then use royalty free music that are licensed under creative commons like those created by Kevin MacLeod of incompetech.com

Anyway, that's it for this video and if you have any questions, comments or reactions then please post them in the comments section.

Bye bye.
