Avoid KuGoo Electric Scooters (explanation video and details)
So, I purchased this scooter in April, by May components had started breaking. Because the company is established in China and Europe I was willing to pay for the replacements myself to avoid waiting for them. I contacted Kugoo and spoke to someone named Hamskims who was very happy to help me (initially!!) we went through the motions of supplying videos and pictures and explaining the problem. Six email exchanges, I get asked for my address and provide it. They vanish. Weeks pass and I keep following up, now the sensors in the brakes died. A few days later the horn dies. I takes me another four emails, including one where I express the intent of this channel. To help others with this scooter make the most of it. At this point they ask me for pictures and videos again. An hour later after I remind them I have provided said videos and pictures before I get told “we can give you a good price on it.” Now they could’ve told me this a month ago, but they still don’t know what led strip actually goes into this model. They don’t know what sensors go into this model. It took a month for me to finally realize this and really makes it hard to trust this brand with the lives and safety of the electric scooter community. Do yourself a favor and support brands that support their products. I have owned this scooter for 6 weeks now and have had to replace more parts than I ever did in four years of owning my precious scooter. Avoid Kugoo! Don’t believe me?
