Avoiding LABS? Try this..
Tarkov Labs is best enjoyed with friends, whether that's working together to clear the map or destroying each other in PvP. Thanks to 12.12.30 Co-Op servers we're now able to play Labs free of frustration, allowing beginners to learn the map in an enjoyable & fun way.

If you're anything like me you would have been avoiding Labs for over a year now due to the initial price of entry, over-tuned AI, suspicious activity and absolute gamer gods. A lot of the time it can be difficult to distinguish between getting outplayed and getting wrecked by a gaming chair which can really put a downer on the Labs experience and really the game experience in general.
Thankfully with the last major update 12.12.30 we were blessed with Co-Op, lovingly known as 'Offline with Friends' which, contrary to its nickname, is hosted on BSG servers. This environment is absolutely perfect for testing, as it enables players to quickly and efficiently test features and potential bugs without losing everything they brought into the raid (or spend the next 20 minutes trying to extract).

Another great feature of Co-Op is the ability to create wildly different game modes which would otherwise be borderline impossible to make work, unless you managed to get everyone in on the same server. This is not impossible, however, but is a massive pain in the backside as you can never guarantee who will get on the same server making it frustratingly difficult to organise teams and suchlike. My RAID Reimagined video for example took far longer than it would now with Co-Op because we had to pray that we got into the same raid. I'll link it in the top right for those of you who love a cinematic, Raid series-inspired video!
So, what does this all have to do with Labs? With one entry card you can play Labs as many times as you like, as you never lose it. You can guarantee all the players you invite, up to a maximum of 10, will make it into the raid and will be able to play with or against you depending on the game mode you choose to play. You can also see just how much the networking effects your perception of PvP, and how 'suspicious' deaths are, a lot of the time, seemingly suspicious due to how the network environment is in Tarkov at this stage. We've all been one tapped by a guy who just came around the corner, chances are he saw you anything between 100 to 500ms before you saw him, due to the infamous peekers advantage. We'll not get onto that right now though as this video is all about having fun with the community.
So, without further ado, here are some of my favourite moments from the last couple of weeks playing against the community in Labs. Most raids we go fully geared however we have recently designed the Doomslayer Game Mode, where everyone loads in with double barrel shotguns only. Honestly, this is the most fun I've had in the game in a LONG time, and encourage you to get your friends together and absolutely destroy each other on what is easily one of the best designed maps in the game.
Footage for this video was filmed during 0.12.12.31 August/September 2022.
