🪁New to Kiting? Here are some tips on how to execute the playstyle properly.
-Be a team player. Do not rush ahead unless you are drawing aggro to you so your team can kill.
-Last man standing? take it slow and easy, your speedyness is your key to surviving. Unless you are close to the exit, then gun it.
-This build is built around not getting hit. If you do get hit not the end of the world just shove zombies off of you for a few seconds.
-Theoretically No specials can get you, listen for spitters and end them fast or run fast as hell to dodge their shots(time it).
-Zombies on you? Run around the map's perimeter; you are basically causing a train as long as you do not cut corners.
-Backpedal and shoot while kiting; sprint away when getting overwhelm, repeat.
-Adapt. Got a Boss Mutation card? Be prepared to kite around the breaker; shoot the giant Oompa Loompa, or avoid the hag as well as picking up weapons you have ammo for if you are low on both weapons.
🎯Weapon choices:
- Smg as a kiter mainly for killing common zombies. A Desert Eagle or magnum for the Specials. Bullet stumble mod recommended for that. Bullet stumble on smg is ok, but you are just wasting bullets to stun Specials, this results in low ammo count.
- Shotgun is strong enough to hurt Specials hard, with bullet stumble they will die and take huge damage at same time. Sort of like a stun lock. Reload speed isn't an issue because they do not use clips except aa12 (reload speed mod for sure)
- Assault Rifles are a mix of SMG and Shotgun as they are strong enough to kill specials fast. Mods are personal pref.
-Sniper is obviously made to kill Specials. With Tec 9 you can easily kite anything.
