CHALLENGE: Win a game.
We wish we could tell you this is the last time Backgammon shows up in this marathon but it's not, since we drew so many challenges this year probability was not in our favor and all the Backgammon challenges were drawn. This particular version is for the Famicom Disk System and your guess is as good as ours when it comes to why this needed an FDS release. More processing power, perhaps?
This game introduces a new gameplay mechanic in the form of a game die that the CPU occasionally moves Draco's way. If he accepts it, the game continues, if he declines it the game is forfeit. Yeah we don't know either. What we do know is this game isn't as easy to play as the other Backgammon game we've already had.
