Async Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Backroom Company) is a game that explores survival in the mysterious backrooms. In the Early Access version, you can experience various maps and challenges, where proving your research achievements requires not only collecting items but also recording anomalies and creatures using your camcorder.
🎯 Game Overview:
Async Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Backroom Company) is a professional research organization that studies a supernatural phenomenon known as 'Noclip', which generates randomly connected rooms. However, no records remain on who founded this company or why it exists. Many explorers hired for research have lost their way in the labyrinthine spaces or vanished without a trace under mysterious circumstances.
You must track down the traces left by your predecessors and collect strange artifacts that can only be found in locked rooms. However, merely collecting items is not enough to prove your research achievements. Recording 'anomalies' and 'creatures' with your camcorder is also a crucial part of your mission. Securing sufficient research data may be the key to your survival.
The Main Control Room allows you to buy and sell necessary exploration items. Choose your equipment carefully before starting your research. Since the number of items you can carry is limited, strategic preparation is essential.
Once you select a stage, the tightly shut elevator doors will open, and your research will begin. If you die during the exploration, you can still escape as long as your teammates reach the required funding goal. However, failing to achieve the goal five times will cause the Control Room to shut down permanently, and the exploration will be terminated forever.
Utilize your radio to maintain communication with teammates. If you stray too far, your radio signal may cut off, drastically lowering your chances of survival. Even if you're injured, there may still be ways to assist your teammates back in the Main Control Room.
The backrooms defy logic, and what resides within them cannot be easily explained.
If bacteria appear, do not look back and run. They are unimaginably fast and cannot be killed. If there is a locker nearby, hide immediately—it's your only chance to survive.
If you encounter a parasite with a deformed head, make no sound. It cannot see you, but it will detect even the slightest noise. Move cautiously.
But is the danger you face really just an accident?
The middle manager of Async Corporation (Backroom Company), Blagos, always delivers encouraging messages to researchers, but more and more people have started questioning his true intentions. Some researchers suspect that the 'accidents' in the backrooms are not random but rather part of a controlled experiment.
The more anomalies and creature records you collect, the more you begin to notice a strange pattern. Recording these phenomena is a required step for research, but you may start questioning who this research truly benefits.
Every experiment is perfectly controlled.
