Bad Dudes vs. DragonNinja playthrough
10Refreshing an another one of my old playthroughs.
Today I re-did a playthrough I made back at the same beginning of 2015.
Once again I am playing Bad Dudes vs. DragonNinja, which was made by Data East in 1988. The Japanese version of this game is named just DragonNinja. However I am playing the US one, where the heroes say "I'm bad!" after having a boss defeated unlike in the Japanese one.
It's about two tough guys, who are fighting the ninjas, who kidnapped the president of USA. The main antagonist of this game is DragonNinja. In this arcade game Karnov, the protagonist of an arcade game "Karnov" and the final boss in the Fighter's History series, is the first boss.
Unlike the majority of the arcade beat'em-ups, Bad Dudes is one of the platformer type ones. There are few items to collect: two weapons (nunchucks and knives), drink can and time increase. However you have to hit a red male ninja to get a one.
Once I saw in the videos, that the heroes can power-up to deal a stronger punch, but unfortunately I found out after having done a playthrough.
The music is nice and the sprites are outstanding for the late 80s standards.
Not ny no reason Bad Dudes is considered one of the another classics of the arcade games.
