The police are currently investigating the case, but the family of the deceased, Ramgopal, is not satisfied. His father, Kailash Nath, has raised concerns about the police investigation, claiming that justice is not being served by the police. He alleges that there is collusion between the police and the criminals. He has warned that if justice is not provided, he and his family will commit suicide.

हत्यारोपी मोहम्मद सरफराज और मोहम्मद तालिब को पुलिस ने एनकाउंटर के बाद बृहस्पतिवार को गिरफ्तार किया था जबकि तीन अन्य आरोपियों अब्दुल हमीद, फहीम और मोहम्मद अफजल को भी गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया था. पुलिस फिलहाल मामले की जांच कर रही है लेकिन मृतक रामगोपाल के परिजन खुश नहीं है. पिता कैलाश नाथ ने पुलिस की जांच पर सवाल उठाया है. उनका कहना है कि पुलिस द्वारा उन्हें न्याय नहीं दिया जा रहा है. पुलिस का अपराधियों से गठजोड़ है. ऐसे में अगर उन्हें न्याय नहीं मिला तो वह परिवार समेत आत्महत्या कर लेंगे
