Baja: Edge of Control HD (2017) - Every PC Rally Game
0Baja: Edge of Control HD by 2XL Games / Blitworks / THQ Nordic, 2017.
This was originally released in 2008, then re-released (with a PC port) as an "HD" version in 2017. This is the best of the Baja titles (so far), with enormous, expansive landscapes, stages that last 20 minutes or more and pretty decent graphics and sound (compared to previous Baja games!).
Highlights in this video are a helicopter flying strangely, a high-flying Bug (that didn't end well; but I didn't show the ending!), a rogue tumbleweed rolling down a hill, at least one rabbit being run over(!) and a bit of a bump at the end!
There is, sadly, no TV camera/replay mode, so I had to drive whilst panning the camera, hence the pretty poor performance of the external spinning camera clips! I actually used Freeride races and a circuit race for these, instead of the very long "rally" stages (the full Baja can take 3.5 hours to complete!).
Overall, if you enjoy bumpy off-road racing then it's worth a look. There's also crazy hill climb tracks too, as well as a mode where the fastest trucks start at the back and have to overtake everything! Oh, and if you get damaged (in the long stages modes at least) you can call a helicopter down to fix you!
