The Baldur's Gate 3 release date has made one thing clear, GOTY 2023 just got harder. Many thought that Zelda Tears of the Kingdom had it in the bag, but more and more games are making that less certain. Seeing a Baldur's Gate 3 GOTY nomination and subsequent win would not surprise me.

I am surprised at my own interest into Baldur's Gate 3 gameplay after the recent crazy rise in popularity.

So the debate will start to stir up about The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Final Fantasy 16, Spider-Man 2, Starfield, and now BG3 is in the mix.

Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios. It is the third main game in the Baldur's Gate series, which is based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system.
