Is Xbox Series S dropping parity even an option? In the wake of Baldur's Gate 3 taking the lead for GOTY 2023 an Xbox podcast suggested that Microsoft drop the parity policy for the Series S. Apparently Baldur's Gate 3 gameplay is just too good to miss out on.

With the Starfield release date around the corner, many Xbox Series X owners are about to have a big game to play. But many feel that missing out on BG3 is just too big to not land in 2023. The issue with Baldur's Gate 3 splitscreen is finding new ground with games like Forza Motorsport 8 as they have to release it without splitscreen as well. So will dropping parity between the two Xbox consoles solve anything?
