Baldur's Gate 3 is a the long (and i mean long) awaited sequal to one of my favorite games of all time. It is finally in early access and we are going to take a look to see if it can live up to it's legacy.

Larian Studios, the developers best known for the Divinity: Original Sin series have taken over the Baldur's Gate franchise and have brought some of the tricks learned in Divinity into this game. Baldur's Gate 3 uses the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition ruleset (of which i have no previous experiance and only one night of experiance playing 4th ed pen and paper). So I really don't know what to expect with the new edition combined with Larian's style of RPG development. I guess we shall have to dive in and see what awaits us in Baldur's Gate 3!
