In this video I show the fight with He Who Was in the Shadow Cursed Lands. This is in Act 2 of the game. If you choose specific dialog options you can make him stab himself over and over to start the fight at an advantage. His loot isn't fantastic. You'll get 225 total XP for killing him and his bird.

After that I'll show the quest rewards for making the dwarf Madeline feel awful about what she did to her friends when she was alive. The reward is the Raven Gloves. These are Rare gloves that give you the ability to summon Quothe the Raven.

This bird can be useful in battle. It can fly around and attempt to blind enemies. If someone kills the bird they have to pass a Dex saving throw or become ensnared.
