So this is it? I'm married now? the boy thought to himself. He grew increasingly restless with each rememberance of the impetuous act. I...I can't believe I'm actually married, now--and to a sword, no less! The consequences finally began to sink in.

And so the boy wandered randomly about, in hopes of easing the throbbing anxiety born of his reckless engagement. Could there really be another love out there for him? He pondered this. Never had he so desperately sought true love; it was a completely new feeling for him. I can't accept these circumstances! he decided. Hungry for answers, he turned the key and unlocked the song of his heart.

Sure has been a while since I made a Boy vs. Principal video, eh? This one is sort of a "special" track, if you will. I've always wanted to write a ballad, since I grew up listening to music my parents listened to, which was mostly Lao/Thai ballads. I kind of have a soft spot for this kind of music since I listened to it constantly as a child. As for the song, I really love how it turned out instrumentally, but--and let me apologize in advance--I'm sorry for the annoying/awful vocals! I love singing, but I certainly don't have any plans of pursuing it seriously. I know I'm not good at it; I just wanted to take a shot at singing one of my very own compositions, that's all! :^) I would definitely like to write more ballads of this nature in the future. It was a LOT of fun.

Of course, this isn't my exactly my natural singing voice--the vocals were given a 2 semitone lift so it'd sound more like a boy was singing.

By the way, since hardly anyone submitted a story for this BvP track, I think I'll just write them myself from now on. Maybe I'll do another "by the fans" sort of thing, who knows.
