8I am excited to share Balsa Model Flight Simulator!
Brainchild of Felipe "HarvesteR" Falanghe, creator of Kerbal Space Program, this new game explores small scale flight! BMFS has a craft editor, or 'Workshop', much like the Space Plane Hanger in KSP, for building your craft. Unlike KSP, BMFS uses procedural parts making the variety of craft you can produce much greater than that of KSP.
This Mr. Potatohead approach to creating craft is quick and easy.
Here's my fifth plane. With the limited parts in the demo, I was able to make something which flies quite like a B29. I can't wait for bomb drop parts!
The aerodynamics model is much more sophisticated that KSP, and the cues in the Workshop to help you make a stable plane are much more powerful.
There will be VR support in the full game and the game already works with a wide array of input devices, including RC flight controllers.
