Now lets talk about the Company of the Golden Boar.

The Company of the Golden Boar are a minor faction of the Calradic Empire. Their leader to start is Vorthert of the Company of the Golden Boar. Their parties consist of mostly vlandian troops and also their own troop line that starts with a tier 2 boar novice that has a linear upgrade progression to a tier 3 boar veteran and then a tier 4 boar champion.

Their troop line is composed of crossbowmen with a one handed weapon and shield as a backup. Some have swords and some prefer the mace. They have medium armor with chainmail and are proficient in hand to
hand combat aswell as long range encounters.

The Company of the Golden Boar banner depicts a boar on wheels which can symbolize the historical trojan horse which was a fake hollow gift the greek army gave to the city of troy to gain entrance by sneaking troops inside the gift and opening the gate at night to let the greek army in.

The game lore states The company are Vlandians, mostly local levies who don't adjust well to peacetime and opted for a life of constant warfare. They are probably the least disciplined and most brigandish of
Calradia's mercenaries, and a scourge to any bit of countryside where they are allowed to run loose. Still, like all mercenaries, they know that their future earnings depend on their reputation, so they honor contracts and practice their skills, particularly with the crossbow, to ensure their employers receive their money's worth.

Again this company really shows a lot of symbolism of the trojan war and more importantly achilles and his crew, which were great fighters, but also had no morals and were very brutal, but at the same time accepting mercenary contracts in war. Very cool symbolism and concept for a clan.
