Bare Knuckle III EN Hack (JP Streets of Rage 3): Stage 7 (Factory) & Bad Ending (Axel, Normal)
5After saving General Ivan Petrov in Stage 7, you go for a different Round 7.
Adam managed to find some tracings of Rakushin in the Green Leaf district; a forest. There's an old factory there that just recently went back into production. No doubt its the source of where the Rakushin bombs are being made.
Adam is to take the General to the White House, and capture the fake general that's going to have a press conference there. Meanwhile, Axel and his entire crew is going to investigate the factory in the forest.

This version of Round 7 first starts you out in the Green Left forest district heading towards the old factory. Watch out for the ninjas, punks, and foot traps you'll find here.
In the second area of this round, you're in the factory, itself. You first have to muscle through a lot of Robot Xs called Mr. A-Z, then you'll fight through a bunch of hopping robots, agents, and even some Rocket punks while not getting too annoyed by the conveyor belts you'll be standing on during this, as well as the pink wall lasers.
The third area has you fight a robotic claw that's manned by Dr. Zero, who was renamed Dr. Dahm in the American version. At first, just attack the claw when it goes down, but after it takes enough damage and starts using its electricity more, outrun it when it chases after you, then attack it after it runs out of power for a moment. Destroying it will short-circuit Dr. Zero's machine, killing him, as well.
The fourth and final section of this round, and the whole game, has you finally confront the REAL Mr. X. What's left of him now is just a talking brain in a jar, but he's still a serious threat as he is about to bomb what remains of the Lima Nations! The bombs will go of in exactly three minutes! Whoever survives it will then want to commence a full-scale war!
To stop them from foiling his plans, the X Brain summons his ultimate robot: Neo X!
Once again, if you just saw the American version of this playthrough, I first show off what happens when you fail to beat this robot before the countdown expires.

Sammy once again swears that the team failed to stop Mr. X's Rakushin bombs from going off in time. Mr. X then locks everyone in and makes the entire factory self-destruct! It was seemingly the end for the Bare Knuckle Brawlers, but then Adam comes in with his helicopter to save them all just in the nick of time!
Afterwards, the factory explodes, and Mr. X is finally gone once and for all. However, his plans still succeeded, as the Rakushin bombs went off and destroyed the Lima Nations.
Luckily, the heroes were able to clear things up despite this destruction, so no full-scale war was going to happen, so at least there heroes got credits for trying to stop Mr. X. EVEN THEN, this version of Streets of Rage 3 lets you see how badly those bombs destroyed the entire city.
This was considered too graphic, so the American version censored this destroyed city shot out for a blank black screen. Despite that, the text was made to be much meaner as the surviving citizens now no longer trust the heroes to be reliable towards protecting their city after they failed to do so.
As a bonus, the Japanese version still allows you to see the credits after its text, showing everyone continuing on with their lives happily, showing that the city does recover eventually. No such case in the American version, where it completely denies you of any credits to go along with its new tougher text.
I'm gonna try this again one more time and prevent those bombs this time. As least you can enjoy the feel-good credits here, but I'll cover its details and changes once I get the actual good ending of this game.
