After having gotten Bari-Arm's Normal difficulty clear, I moved up a step and tackled Hard mode.

It does not have tons of differences but some of them are pretty noticeable. The denser patterns in Stage 6 for example make that stage even more critical than it is. While you can make a few mistakes here and there through most of the previous stages, here it is very important to be at full power and with the mecha for as long as possible.

Otherwise, it'll be difficult to quick-kill the midbosses and you'll end up having to handle them while the mines show up, and it's not going to end well.

That also meant the Stage 5 boss was even more tense, as I couldn't allow to die there even though I lost control of the fight for a while. Thankfully I made it out unscathed and managed to secure enough lives to safely beat the last boss, which does not seem to be different from its Normal version.

On to Mania difficulty next, hopefully!
