Based or Cringe Ep. 8 (Low amount of news this week + this isn't a good episode + I call it Ep. 9)
I did the math: If you wanted to beat House of the Dead 3 at an arcade it will cost you almost $20. This is of course assuming that you are already familiar with the game routes and how to effectively beat the bosses. However, there is multiple endings to this game that depend on the route you take and the score you get at the end of each stage. There is 4 endings, so assuming you get all of those endings consecutively, it will cost you $80 to beat House of the Dead 3 in its entirety. However, since you are now a House of the Dead master, you now have to play the other titles. There is currently 5 arcade titles of the game + a console only version (not to be accounted for). Assuming it takes you $80 to beat House of the Dead 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, we can assuming that it will take you a minimum of $400 to beat every House of the Dead game assuming you never make a mistake. This is of course impossible as arcade games are designed to steal your money. With that, we can almost assume it can take you hundreds more to master these games, possibly topping out at closer to $500 - $600 to beat every House of the Dead title at an arcade.
Conversely, the console port of House of the Dead 2 +3 on the Xbox/Wii can cost $20 to $30, with either of those consoles costing ~$100. House of the Dead 4 had a digital release on the PS3 ONLY, and although it costs only $10, a PS3 nowadays can cost almost $200! House of the Dead 5 is still only in arcades, so you may have to spend a lot of money to master that game! Unfortunately, nothing compares to the console release of House of the Dead 1 on the Sega Saturn: On top of a Sega Saturn costing almost $200, a used copy of House of the Dead can cost $500! There is of course a PC release that can cost only $25, but you dont want to play on a PC, thats too easy to aim with a mouse, you need a light gun or a controller!
So, what will you choose? $600 to beat every House of the Dead game at an arcade, or thousands of Dollars to play the console releases of the games? You know the real answer: Buy my Book: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DRX9NDH/?coliid=I2GVXC4T71YRVJ&colid=3G3F4LDNMI5BY&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
