Baseline Features All RTS Games Should Have
A lot of new RTS games have been springing up, and many of them haven't implemented some important usability features. Here's a short list of features that really should be in every RTS game. If the features I've listed seem obvious, that's exactly the point, especially since the full set isn't in any one game.
Note that there are a lot of nice-to-have features I do like which I haven't mentioned, either because they are somewhat sub-genre specific, or their absence isn't going to make playing the game painful.
