A question from a viewer about my first band. After a epic fail as a guitar player , Randy Rhoads my teacher in the late 70's suggested playing a bass instead.
Trading in my Sears and Roebuck Crown electric for a used beat to hell 1967 EB-3
I joined my first band in the late 70's in a punk band called BME ( Batman's Enemies).
Line up to disbandment
Andy Skate - Vocals
Juan - Guitar
John Baxtor - Drums
Jeff D - Bass

Ok we did not do a show with Joy Division or the Germs. A friend of mine was at two BME shows did say we opened for Black Flag and DK in 1979 or 80. Other bands was The Rods , Acid Castration ( from Nevada ) , Mohawk , 45. Grave , the Cramps , Sonic Garage and Spazzmatics .
So thanks to Ted Newhart for the update on these early BME shows.
