In this Battle Breakers video, I am showcasing how Proximity locators can be earned by playing, talking about how you can buy them with in-game currency and talking about why you want them and how I feel they are best used in the game. I have saved up 50 Proximity Locators that I am using the the Quests Page to get 1 to 4 star heroes with help from the proximity locators. Proximity Locators allow players to recruit (find, rescue) random low-tier heroes that can be used at the very start of the game for progression, but act as monster pit and sell fodder more than anything else. I am demonstrating how you can check if you already have a foil version of an available hero in the monster pit, and what you get when you sell heroes that you already have in the monster pit. Regardless of the star count, Proximity locator heroes appear to always give 5,000 Gold, 1 Essence and 5 Core Hero Traces in addition to hero xp.
