Wish I could have made this 2 years ago before the book was released. But in the book Violet Heart, the battle of Leilani Ridge was so significant, it was a battle fought between a group of former serfs and the Crimson Empire. The Rebels managed to form a strong resistance and make their stand at Leilani Ridge. The battle lasted 3 days, and it allowed the bulk of their people to escape the clutches of the Crimson Army and form the Ruthanite Coalition, but at such great cost.
