For many years, the V10 monsters of 2004 and 2005 were the kings of F1, holding many records and still looked upon with rose tinted goggles by F1 fans of all ages (because lets face it, the racing wasn't that good!). Then in 2017, the regulations changed and those lap records started getting obliterated by as much as three seconds.

But what about a power circuit like Monza where downforce and grip are sacrificed for absolute straight line speed? Well, that's what we're here to find out!

I'm taking MSF's magnificent Williams FW26 and RSS' phenomenal Formula Hybrid 2018 car to Monza to see if these modern cars really do have an advantage in the corners as opposed to their V10 grandfathers. One has traction control, one has hybrid. Who will win? Well, it's obvious as we've seen it on the telly, but this is just a bit of fun!
