Check out part 9 of my gameplay walkthrough featuring the game Battleborn! This game released on the Xbox One on May 3rd, 2016. It was developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games.

In this video, the Battleborn defeat Bagranth the Gunhulk inside the jungles of Ekkunar & then head to a different part of Ekkunar to save the Old Sentinel.

Battleborn was (the game is no longer playable as the Battleborn servers actually shut down at the end of January 2021) a first-person hero shooter that also included MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) elements. The biggest draw of this game was meant to be the multiplayer components (where the MOBA elements existed), however, the game also had a campaign mode (which could be played in both single player or multiplayer). The game was set in a space fantasy setting, where every species that remained fled to the one and only remaining star known as Solus (after a disastrous event destroyed most of the other planets and stars). Out of the remainder of these species came about various factions that eventually united under the label known as Battleborn. The Battleborn's purpose was to fight the Varelsi and the leader of the Jennerit Imperium, Rendain who were the cause of the original catastrophe.

The game's campaign was comprised of various episodes/missions where the Battleborn travel to different locations in an effort to stop Rendain's plans. The game included around 30 playable characters (with each having different abilities and weapons) and 3 main multiplayer modes: Meltdown, Incursion and Capture (the game later added 2 additional multiplayer modes called Face-Off and Supercharge). The 3 main multiplayer modes were pretty entertaining and fairly varied in what they had to offer. Meltdown was a mode where the team had to escort and sacrifice AI controlled robots while stopping the enemy team from doing the same. Incursion was a mode where teams have to progressively destroy their opponent's base while defending their own base. Capture was a mode where teams have to capture and defend various points across the map (similar to the Domination mode in Call of Duty).
